EmotionAid® (EA) (hereinafter: “the Service or the Association”) sees supreme importance in maintaining the privacy of its users and operates in accordance with the law applicable in Israel and in particular the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741–1981 and also in accordance with the GDPR (respectively, and as necessary).
In this document we will detail the principles of our privacy policy, these terms will teach you what the practiced privacy policy on the site is. They review, among other things, the way the Service uses information that you provide to it and information that will be collected about you while you use the site.
In this policy, the expression “Personal Information” means any information that can be reasonably used to identify you, including your first name and your last name, your address, your phone number and more.
This policy constitutes an integral part of the terms of use on the site. The policy is formulated in the masculine language for reasons of convenience only, and it applies identically also to women.

The use of the EmotionAid® website constitutes agreement to the privacy policy detailed below. If you do not agree to this policy, please refrain from using the site or from transferring personal details through it.
The site serves as a platform for distributing professional information, educational content, online trainings, registration for courses and for receiving newsletters and enables receiving donations through an external provider (“IsraelGives”).

During use of the site or filling out various forms, personal information may be collected such as:

The donations and payments on the site are performed through an external provider – EmotionAid® does not collect or save credit details or other financial details in the system.

- Sending mailings and professional information and updates (newsletters) to those who requested it – every mailing includes a removal option by simple click.

Use of Cookies
The site makes use of cookies for current operation, analysis of usage data and improvement of user experience. You have the possibility to delete or block cookies through browser settings, but it is possible that part of the services on the site will not operate properly. Additionally, the site makes use of Google Analytics for the purpose of analyzing visitor traffic. The data is collected in an anonymous manner only, in accordance with Google’s privacy policy.
Information Security
EmotionAid attributes great importance to the security of information in its systems. For keeping the information, it operates systems, applications and procedures for information security, intended to minimize the risks of theft, damage, loss or unauthorized access to information, in accordance with the provisions in the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Information Security), 5777-2017.
However, there is no certainty that these applications guarantee in an absolute and hermetic manner that personal information will not be exposed, lost or stolen from the databases. Therefore, EmotionAid does not commit, and you cannot reasonably expect that the service and the information systems used by EmotionAid will be immune from unauthorized access to the information stored in them. By your entry to the site, you confirm that you are aware and agree to these limitations.
Delivery of Information to Third Parties
EmotionAid does not transfer personal information to third parties, except in the following cases only:
- For providing support, hosting or statistical analysis services, subject to confidentiality and information security agreements
- According to a legal requirement of authorized authorities
- In case of a merger or structural change, subject to the receiving party’s commitment to maintaining the terms of this policy
- In a case where explicit consent was given.
Transfer of Information Outside of Israel
The site is hosted on WordPress servers located in Germany. The transfer of information is done in accordance with the instructions of Israeli and European law (GDPR), and subject to adequate protection measures for maintaining the privacy of the users.
Keeping Information and its Security
EmotionAid takes advanced technological and organizational measures for keeping the personal information, including data encryption (SSL), access control, backups and current security updates. The information will be kept only as long as it is required for the purposes for which it was collected or according to the requirements of the law. At any time, it is possible to request deletion or removal from mailing lists, and the information will be deleted in accordance with the request.
Users’ Rights
In accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law and the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Information Security), and according to the principles of the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right to review the information collected about you
- Right to request correction of incorrect or missing information
- Right to request deletion of personal information (“the right to be forgotten”)
- Right to object to the use of information for purposes of direct marketing and mailing
- Right to withdraw your consent at any time
Requests can be sent to the email address listed below, and we will handle them within a reasonable time and in accordance with the law.
Age of Users
The services on the site are intended for adults over the age of 18 only. If it becomes known to us that information was collected from a child under this age – we will delete the information immediately.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
EmotionAid reserves for itself the right to update the privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be published on the site, and the update date will appear at the head of the page.
