What does EmotionAid® training bring you as a SE therapist?
After obtaining her doctorate from the Geneva School of Pharmacy, Cathy worked in the research and development of anticancer drugs before setting up her own company in the field of life sciences and biotechnology. The discovery of Somatic Experiencing ™ was for her a scientific, emotional and spiritual revelation that marked a turning point in her life and in her career.
Cathy is an SEP and an EmotionAid trainer. She has been running ITI (International Trauma Healing Institute) in Israel since 2008. Her enthusiasm and commitment to trauma prevention, emotional first aid and trauma healing continues to grow.
Together with the ITI team, Cathy created “EmotionAid®”. The EmotionAid® protocol is the result of years of fieldwork with hundreds of participants from all sectors of the population to make these healing tools accessible to everyone. Cathy teaches EmotionAid® and trains EmotionAid® facilitators around the world.
Since the start of the Covid-19 crisis, she has been leading EmotionAid® training sessions specially designed for medical and psychological teams from major Israeli medical centers as well as for various organizations around the world.
